OCTOBER:
  • Ask for parents’ permission.
  • Add participant pupils and teachers to twinspace.
  • Forum activity: “Introductions”.
  • Competition: Let’s choose the name and the logo of our newspaper.
  • Creation of a blog to share openly our productions.
  • Creation of a closed Facebook group for teachers involved in the Project.
  • Children elaborate the summary of the first number of our newspaper (Theme: “My school”)

NOVEMBER:
  • Online meeting: “Let’s meet each other!” Children speak about themselves.
  • Elaboration of the activities proposed.
  • Forum activity: “I love my school”.

DECEMBER:
  • Publication of the first number of our newspaper, using “issuu” or “calameo”.
  • Online meeting: “Typical songs and dances from our country.
  • Forum activity: “Happy New Year!”
  • Little Journalists.

JANUARY:
  • Children elaborate the summary of the second number of our newspaper (Theme: “My city”).
  • Online interview: Children from each school prepare some questions to ask the children of the other partner school.
  • Children write about some news or important information about our schools and are recorded and shared in the radio program.
  • Forum activity: “I live in…”

FEBRUARY:
*    Writing and recording of news about our cities (it can be real news or interesting information about it) and shared in the radio program.
*    Online activity: “A tour around my town”. Children will speak about the main buildings, parks, and other places of their cities.
*    Children will go on working in the elaboration of the newspaper.

MARCH:
  1. Publication of the second number of our newspaper, using “issu” or “calameo”.
  2. Face to face meeting: students and teachers from Toros College will travel to Málaga and visit CEIP Manuel Fernández school.
  3. Forum activity: “So happy to meet you!"
  4. Writing and recording of news about anything we find interesting to share in the radio program. It can be about Spring, Easter or any curricular content.


APRIL:
  • Children elaborate the summary of the third number of our newspaper (Theme: “My country, your country”).
  • Online activity: “This is my country”. Children will talk about their countries, the capital city, the tipical food, etc.
  • Forum activity: “My country…”
  • Recording of news about our countries (it can be real news or interesting information about it) and shared in the radio program.
  • Children will go on working in the elaboration of the newspaper.
  • First video-recording: “The News”. Children will prepare a news programme to share in the blog.

MAY:
  • Online activity: “It is time to say goodbye!”.
  • Forum activity: “In this Project I have learnt…”
  • Recording of news about our countries (it can be real news or interesting information about it) and shared in the radio program.
  • Children will go on working in the elaboration of the newspaper.
  • Second video-recording: “The News”. Children will prepare a news programme to share in the blog.

JUNE:
  • Publication of the third number of our newspaper.
  • Evaluation of the Project.
